Founded in 1922, by Frank G. Brooks, Beta Beta Beta is a national honor society for students dedicated to improving the understanding and appreciation of biological study and to extending the boundaries of human knowledge through scientific research. On April 6, 1995, the Rho Iota Chapter of Beta Beta Beta was established at Washington College in Chestertown, Maryland.
