WACappella
WACappella prepares to sing the National Anthem at a volleyball game.
Founded in 2008, WACappella is Washington College’s first and only co-ed cappella group. The group is open to individuals of all levels of experience and musical taste, holds auditions every semester, and performs popular and contemporary music at campus events, much of which they arrange themselves. At the end of each semester, WACappella holds a campus-wide concert.
This year, WACappella performed at the following events: All-Campus Picnic, Best Buddies Talent Show, 100 Voice Choir Concert, Sports Awards, Relay for Life Survivor’s Dinner, National Anthem at Basketball Games & Swim Meets, American Legion, Leadership Awards, Chester River Manor, WC ALL Holiday Dinner, Trustees Dinner at the President’s House, Convocation, Parent’s Night at Garnett Elementary School, and the Special Olympics.
